Fred Gasser’s Spring 1904 Workbook

Acquired online, this workbook provides a momentary slice in the life of Frederick Joseph Gasser, born 1891. At the age of 12, he writes of his home, his family, Father Thomas, disease and “Intertainment”. His dictation and letter writing speak of the day and its difficulties. In the end, Fred became a physician and doctor, exercising his handwriting skills at new limits by replacing the German with Latin, hopefully, legibly.
